sculpture

Denise Buckley has been interpreting human forms throughout her career as a sculptor. Her bronze, clay, and glass pieces reveal complementary devotions to craftmanship and expression. She executes all steps in the process of creating bronze sculpture, from the shaping of the original clay model to the final casting and finishing of the metal. Her original adaptations of raku techniques blur the boundaries between clay and metal. Recent explorations include experiments with glass casting and marble carving.
